A sleeping mask designed to capture CO2 whilst inhabitants sleep to moderate the life support system of the Isoculture. The CO2 is captured into crystal form within the pillow.

Cheese made from human breast milk.

11. Phosphate and Urine

Phosphate extracted from human urine. Phosphate is used as a fertiliser to produce food. The practice of recovering phosphate from urine makes daily urination an important ritual.

9. Genetic Drift Ropes

Ropes that charts the genetic makeup of the isoculture. It creates a prediction of the 'Founders Effect' where genes became dominant or extinct over successive generations.

8. Melatonin Interpreter

A device inserted into the base of the skull to interface with the pineal gland. The gland produces the hormone Melatonin in response to solar storms. The device helps iso-inhabitants experience vast scales despite their isolation.

A piece of clothing designed to collect sweat from the body. Salt is then extracted from the sweat and used as an important mineral in the isoculture

4. Hair tattoo

Hair follicles are transplanted from one person to another to form tattoo-like designs. An expression of love for another is literally grown on the body.

After the birth of a child the placenta is cooked, dried and processed into a capsule to capture its oxytocin hormone content. When taken oxytocin increases empathy and trust to strengthen social bonds.

Synthetically engineered yeast (Candida tropicalis) is grown on body to produce a bio-plastic. Here a structure worn on the foot creates the ideal conditions for the yeast to produce bio-plastic garments.
